Percutaneous Interventions

Our biopsy services include ultrasound, fluoroscopic and CT-guided techniques, both for fine needle aspiration and core biopsies. Our mammography team also perform specialized vacuum-assisted biopsies, where indicated.

We have a dedicated team of musculoskeletal radiologists, headed by Dr Richard de Villiers, who provide services such as ultrasound-, fluoroscopic- or CT-guided arthrography, tendinous and joint injections as well as bone and soft tissue biopsies. We also perform protein-rich plasma injections for sports injuries, where indicated.
